Personnel Technician/Human Resources

The Personnel Technician (PT)/Human Resources (HR) Department provides a wide array of services to departments and employees.  The Town has 35 full-time employees; the PT/HR department is responsible for the recruitment and selection of Town employees, position classification and compensation, benefits administration, personnel policy and records management, workers’ compensation.  The PT/HR position is also responsible for Processing Payroll and Accounts Payable.

The PT/HR department strives for personnel programs and policies that are fair and legal, maintain comprehensive benefits and competitive pay, and promote workplace wellness and safety to retain a skilled and diverse workforce that meets the varied needs of the Town and its citizens.
