Burgaw is Living Local!
Welcome to Burgaw, NC, the type of town you thought didn’t exist anymore. Here in Burgaw, we still shop at local stores, know the farmer who grows our food, and join our neighbors for a walk along Osgood Canal Trail or meet them at the coffee shop on Saturday mornings.
Burgaw is definitely a town that has retained its small town charm. A variety of shopping opportunities, town and county offices, schools, nine parks, and the local library are all within walking or biking distance of the town’s residential neighborhoods. For fresh, local food, you can contact the farmer directly, pick something up at the local grocery, or order from local non-profit Feast Down East.
Spend your weekends at the Pender Memorial ball park or take a short drive to boat, fish, or kayak on the Black River or Northeast Cape Fear. Annual festivals, such as Spring Fest and the North Carolina Blueberry Festival, make good use of the Pender County Courthouse Square—one of our favorite places to meet our friends. Come to Burgaw for its tight-knit community, close friends, and leisurely pace, and have the kind of life you always dreamed of…
