PERSONNEL TECHNICIAN / DEPUTY TOWN CLERK  

The Personnel Technician provides a range of comprehensive services encompassing all areas of public personnel administration in accordance with the requirements of personnel law.  The Personnel Technician is involved with employee selection and recruitment, position management, training and development, employee and management relations, health benefits, and implementing federal and state safety regulations.  The Personnel Technician is responsible for updating and maintaining all personnel records for employees. 

 

 

Major functions of the Personnel Technician are:

·        Implementing benefits for all new employees

·        Posting of all employment opportunities

·        Payroll

·        Pay monthly bills associated with Payroll

·        Coordinates Safety Programs

·        Assist Utility Billing

·        Assist Collections

·        Assist Privilege License Billing

·        Assist the Town Clerk with duties as assigned
