The Town of Burgaw is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of Captain/ Criminal Investigator.
Salary range: $38.000.00 - $44,500.00
Population is 3,996. 
Applicants must meet all requirements of the North Carolina Criminal Justice Training and Standards Commission. This position requires extensive law enforcement experience with at least 5 years supervisory role. Prefer 4 year college degree in police science, criminal justice and public administration or equivalent experience. Applications/ resumes will be accepted through October 17, 2008 until 5:00pm. FIRE FIGHTER - Burgaw Fire Department is accepting applications for part-time fire fighter/apparatus operator. Duties shall include fire fighting/apparatus operation and other routine fire department activities and responsibilities. Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. not to exceed 20 hours per week (Monday – Friday only). Pay per hour will be $10.00 to $12.00 depending on experience and certifications. Open until filled.
